Laser Services provides precise control over welding energy output. This is the critical expertise necessary to create perfect seam and spot welds. We routinely seam and spot weld high conductivity metals such as copper and aluminum; high-melting point metals such as tungsten, molybdenum, and tantalum. Thin metal foils can also be fused to metals of higher mass with minimal distortion and no burn through, and dissimilar metals can be joined without costly filler materials. Our welders can also incorporate rotary chucks for 360º welding. Since welds are made without fluxes, a significant source of surface contamination is avoided.
